Our new Account Specialist is based in our Sales & Account Management team at our Brisbane Business Centre.

Our Brisbane Business Centre is located in the Centre of Queensland's bustling state capital and is within walking distance of Central Station and a variety of cafes, restaurants, and CBD-shopping. This office supports a key customer, vendor, government and industry engagement space, providing modern, open and collaborative workspaces for our software development, software support, and customer and commercial group operations.

Role Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Specialist to seek out business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the retention and expansion of our key customer base.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales, customer service and relationship building. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

Your overarching goal is to identify growth opportunities within our current client base and source new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client, securing a deal and

  • Proactively source new sales opportunities through networking and convert them into long-term partnerships

  • Present products and services to prospective clients

  • Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty and longevity

  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs and unique requirements

  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation

  • Keep detailed notes in CRM and regular reporting for management

  • Assist other departments with relevant feedback on product performance and ongoing updated market trends

  • Contribute ideas and knowledge as a valued stakeholder

Our Ideal Applicant:

Naturally, we’re after the best.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience as an Account Specialist, or similar sales/customer service role

  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (MS Dynamics 365) is preferred

  • Excellent and high level communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Software &/or Medical Industry experience would be advantagous

  • A business acumen

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude
