INSURANCE SUPPORT OFFICER

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Insurance Services Support Officer to join the RACT Insurance team. This position will provide support and advice to our sales and retail distribution network regarding underwriting functions, risk acceptance, policy maintenance and other system and business processes.

This role will:

  • Provide expertise, advice and decisions to distributors of RACT Insurance products in legislation, guidelines, processes, underwriting and risk selection and management
  • Work toward and understand profitable risk selection and management strategies that deliver profit and growth targets across insurance segments
  • Identify further efficiency gains for business processes and underwriting solutions
  • Ensure that knowledge and information on regulatory, competitive, industry and technical developments and trends is regularly shared amongst team members

We're looking for someone who is experienced in underwriting, the sale and distribution of insurance products, or similar work. You'll be customer-focused in your approach and comfortable working in a highly regulated environment, adhering to strict guidelines and providing technical advice to our frontline staff.
