Your Opportunity

Triple Care Farm is located on 110 acres in the NSW Southern Highlands and accepts referrals from young people Australia wide.

We provide assessment, treatment and intervention for young people between the ages of 16-24 participating in the residential rehabilitation and treatment program. The withdrawal program supports young people for up to 28 days, providing supervised withdrawal and a range of holistic supports and therapies

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for clinical mentoring and coaching. You will be experienced and confident in witting clinical and nursing policies.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provision of clinical support and ongoing education for nursing staff
  • Identify learning needs of individuals and liaise with Team Leader to develop response
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Drive and sustain evidence-based quality nursing care for young people
  • Undertake and develop continuous quality improvement activities
  • Contribute to modifications to policies, procedures and protocols for the program
  • Ensure the maintenance of relevant medication records, case notes, progress notes or documentation

Requirements for Success

  • Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration (relevant tertiary qualifications)
  • Experience and or demonstrated understanding of working with young people with problematic alcohol and drug issues in a residential withdrawal setting and within the context of harm reduction
  • NSW Driver’s License and current First Aid Certificate
  • Familiarity with and confidence in working within a harm minimisation framework

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
