Maintenance Fitter

Our client, based in Gympie, is one of Australia’s largest and most innovative building product manufacturers and are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their team. Working alongside another Maintenance Fitter on site this role will report into the Plant Manager. Working flexible hours between Monday and Friday this will be a varied role well suited to someone who classes themselves as a ‘jack of all trades’.

The ideal applicant will possess prior experience in:

• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Preventative maintenance
• Pump work
• Welding, including: mig, tig and stick
• Diagnose faults and repair of equipment
• Fabrication work

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and can integrate into a small team. A positive attitude towards safety and company policies is a must.
