About the role:

 

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join our Perth based team to facilitate continuous improvement through process review and deliver enhanced business performance.

 

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate proven leadership knowledge, skills and experience with enthusiasm and attention to detail within a related role. The person will be an effective communicator in a team environment and will be willing to rise to the challenge in this pivotal role to make a positive impact in their work environment.

 

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

 

  • Promote a continuous improvement culture across the business unit by engaging the key Lean principles.
  • Facilitate the improvement projects across all value streams that exist within the business unit.
  • Work with the specific business unit teams to:
    • Reduce key execution norms.
    • Improve operational efficiency.
    • Improve customer satisfaction
    • Remove excessive cost in execution through MUDA waste reduction.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role or similar
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in an multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of business process development and improvement methodologies in a corporate environment.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
  • Solid report writing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisations
  • Ability to understand and interpret a diverse range of business activities
