About the Role:

We have multiple casual opportunities for experienced Lifestyle and Leisure Assistants to join our team. As a valued member of the team, you will be supporting people with disabilities to develop social and life skills in both community and centre based group programs. These programs see our customers experiencing and participating in current events with their peers, such as sporting games, concerts, musicals, art sessions, theme parks and dining out as well as a number of skill development programs. If you love helping with skill development, socialising, interacting and can bring fun, excitement and enthusiasm to all our events, this role is for you!

The successful candidates will be required to travel between  our Logan and Gold Coast locations.

Experience in working with teens and young adults will be highly regarded, as will holders of a Certificate III or higher qualification in a relevant area of study.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Lifestyle and Leisure Assistant, you will be required to:

  • Supporting our customers to participate in social, recreation and skills development programs
  • Providing limited personal care and manual handling assistance
  • Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence


As an NDIS Registered Provider background screening is important to us, therefore you will need to demonstrate:

  • Valid Blue Card and Yellow Card
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or able to obtain)
  • Minimum Cert III in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • A current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle
