The Position

St John of God Richmond Hospital is a private mental health hospital northwest of Sydney providing comprehensive and holistic mental health care services in a tranquil setting.

Currently available are 2 vacancies for Patient Services Assistants within the Catering Department. Working under the direction of the Hotel Services Manager, these positions assist in the delivery of both quality cleaning services and provision of support services to all Catering staff. 

Candidates with recent experience in an acute hospital setting in a similar role, who are working towards or hold  a CERT II in Health Services (Client/Patient Support Services) or equivalent certification will be highly regarded.

This postion will be offered on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Sound verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organisational skills.
  • Commitment to Customer Service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
