Contact Centre / Customer Support Officers - Payroll | NSW State Government


  • $31 per hour + Super | 35hours per week
  • ASAP Start | Estimated 6-month temporary assignment, potential to extend
  • NSW State Government | Newcastle Location
  
Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education, connecting all stages from early childhood to tertiary qualifications across the NSW community. They are currently Customer Support officers to join their Contact Centre in Newcastle. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
  

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties –
  • Provide high level, professional customer service
  • Respond to inquiries from customers in a high-volume call environment
  • Answer internet and email inquiries within a timely and accurate manner
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Provide information to customers about the Departments goods and services
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy and confidentiality through database maintenance and records management.
  
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following – 
  • Demonstrated experience working within a high-volume contact centre environment
  • Previous Banking experience highly desirable 
  • Professional and confident with a customer service delivery focus
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of payroll policies and entitlements desirable
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
