Duties & Responsibilities

● Work with the team leader closely to complete various projects in preliminary concept, full set documentation of town planning, working drawing & VCAT.
● Finalise the town planning drawings and working drawings (in ArchiCAD), supervised by the team leader.
● Liaise with councils to ensure all the reports and plans compiled for town planning submission, amendment submission and working drawing in a timely and quality manner
● Liaising with consultants, such as Planning consultant, Landscaping Designer, Arborist, Waste Management engineer, and Traffic engineer to provide the best design solution.
● Understand all the relevant regulations and policies, such as Res-Codes, BCA, AS and planning scheme and comply with them
● Project management of service from business development team through to construction support team, provide planning consulting to the construction team.
● Develop a strong team culture, demonstrating strong negotiation and project management skills.
● Update project register to ensure all the project's progress up to date
● Follow up all the submission and report to team leader
● Collect all consultants' quotation, payment and approval process and provide to the team leader to approve
● Assist with client queries including project update, documentation request, further information, public notification and submissions
● Assist the design/planning team with all the administration work
● Develop a strong team culture, demonstrating strong negotiation and project management skills.


Skills & Experience
the successful candidate will ideally have but not essential:
● Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role 
● Proficient in ArchiCAD 
● Knowledge of BCA & Rescode
● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
● Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
● Knowledge in completing construction documentation and tender documentation;
● A demonstrated ability to meet timeframes
