The IT Assistant is responsible for assisting in general IT related inquiries from our internal team. The role works closely with our IT Officers who will provide full on the job training in our internal systems and processes. The role will be a part time one with the equivalent of three full time days, we are flexible on days to accommodate study schedules. 

The roles general duties will include though not be limited to:

  • All Level 1 support enquiries such as account requests, hardware/software support
  • Help Desk - Monitoring, categorisation and allocation of support tickets. Maintaining internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Responding to Level 1 requests and escalating level 2 and 3 as required.
  • Documentation - Creation and maintenance of documentation for systems, incident and problem management 
  • Participate in applicable projects when assigned 
  • Creation of weekly project status packs
  • Booking appropriate project meetings 

Desired Skills:

  • Office 365
  • Active Directory 
  • Group Policy 
  • MS Project

Highly Desirable Skills:

  • SAP 
  • ITIL Certified 
  • Studying or studied a Diploma in Information Technology Professional Practice
