Warehouse Admin/ Data Entry Assistant

This is an entry-level opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic and well spoken individual who wishes to start their career in this industry in a varied role with training and support provided. This is a full-time position 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. 

The Position

The successful applicant's primary responsibility will be to  support the warehouse department, assisting with despatch invoice data entry and preparation of shipping documents. 

 Duties include:

  • Accurate and timely data entry;
  • Filing and archiving;
  • Ensure OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to;
  • Liaising with sales and inventory teams as required;
  • Coordinating delivery and collection of goods with suppliers; 
  • Assisting the warehouse and accounts team with admin tasks; and
  • Other duties as directed by the Operations Director as required. 

The Person

The successful applicant will be hardworking, punctual, keen to help and will understand the importance of attention to detail when undertaking their tasks. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to show initiative and work autonomously when required. 

While the successful applicant doesn't have to have prior office experience it is essential that they are able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They will hold intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to undertake basic formulas. 

A professional and positive attitude towards customers, suppliers and staff is essential.
