LAUNCESTON PATHOLOGY

  • PERMANENT 

  • PART-TIME (10 - 15 hrs p/w guaranteed minimum)

About The Role:

  • Permanent part-time position
  • Collection of pathology specimens from patients
  • Store and process pathology specimens
  • Patient reception and response to client enquiries
  • Record patient information
  • Attend to the well-being of patients
  • Liaise with patients and referring doctors
  • Use of laboratory application software
  • Extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate

About You:      

  • Previous phlebotomy experience will be considered an advantage
  • Flexible availability for work, including weekends
  • Able to commit to an intensive training program for up to 6 weeks 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment in a pleasant and co‑operative manner
  • Proven ability to act independently within established guidelines, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement
  • High standards in applying attention to detail
  • Commitment to service excellence
  • Australian driver's licence 
  • The right to live and work in Australia
