Mechanical Fitter/Welder

Our client is a leader within the steel industry and works closely with the Construction and Mining spaces.

There is a temporary gap to be filled whilst another long term employee has some leave. In saying this, if the successful candidate works out well - there could be an opportunity to remain on.

The ideal person will have good experience welding and be competent working on a range of production machinery.
Machines on site include presses, roll formers, rotary welders, bar benders and cutters.

Initially the work will involve welding up of frames and will then move onto mechanical works in the factory.

Repairs, general maintenance, stripping down equipment and the odd installation job.

$35 per hour on offer

Applicants must have experience in the above to be considered.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
