Rubix Solutions urgently require a Content Producer that will develop digital content for a new website, with the aim of deepening our engagement with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator with proven experience creating, editing and publishing a range of online and rich media content in a corporate / government environment.

They will be able to work flexibly in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment and will happily take responsibility for duties that contribute to the delivery of quality outcomes. This role will help deliver accessible, user-driven content to the company. A user-centred approach is essential to this role.

The Content Producer will be responsible for:
  • Delivering time-critical work under broad direction, working flexibly and cooperatively in a team -Identifying types of content required to meet user needs, in line with an agreed site map and website design.
  • Identifying gaps in our content and making recommendations for improving content.
  • Researching, sourcing, repurposing and authoring content for the new website.
  • Working collaboratively with subject matter experts to write clear, accurate copy.
  • Establishing efficient processes for content development and approvals
  • Proofreading and editing content before publication
  • Ensuring content adheres to the company's tone of voice.
  • Working with the Digital Engagement Manager to develop the content strategy.
  • Working closely with the digital agency tasked with designing and developing the new company's website.

 
 
 Essential criteria:
 
 
  • Bachelor degree in communications, marketing, journalism, media (or a related field) or equivalent work experience in a similar field
  • Minimum three years’ experience writing, editing, proofreading, managing and publishing web content for complex, large-scale websites, including experience in content delivery for new, large-scale websites
  • Ability to edit, repurpose and write a range of content types
  • Demonstrated experience in advising and fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, ideally WordPress
  • Demonstrated experience in WCAG 2.1 accessibility, user experience, and usability standards and applying SEO to content.
