Bookkeeper

Work in a relaxed and friendly environment in Sydney CBD.

You must be a qualified bookkeeper (Degree preferable) and have advanced knowledge in MYOB and Xero. You will have the opportunity to work with our CPA in providing bookkeeping services to our client. We also provide a remote Legal Bookkeeping service so any LEAP Legal experience would be an advantage if you would also like some work from home.

We provide onsite bookkeeping at our clients offices for 1-3 days per week. You work directly with the client under our supervision and support for any accounting or software related enquiries. Most of our clients are service based so there is not a lot of data entry and payroll is usually less than 10 staff. As well as the bookkeeping duties you will help the client understand their business through analysis of meaningful Management Reports. Duties may include:
   
Accounts Payable

Reconcile creditors statements

Coding and entry of supplier invoices

Setting up bank feeds to automate entries

Accounts Receievable

Creating, coding and issuing sales invoices

Chasing up and reporting on outstanding debtors

Payroll and Superannuation

Process payroll and issue payslips to employees

Accrue Annual and Personal Leave Balances

Superannuation reconciliation and payments

Prepare employee Payment Summaries

BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement

You can work under our BAS Agent Registration with our supervision so are not required to be a registered BAS Agent


Bank and credit card reconciliations

Setup bank feeds and reconcile accounts


Management Reporting

Prepare and analyse Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow forecast reports comparing actuals versus budgeted figures.
