Assistant Brand Manager - Social Media

About the role

Supporting our Marketing Manager, this role will have the opportunity to drive the performance of our marketing portfolio. This role varies from day to day and will offer you a dynamic mix of brand planning and product development with general marketing administrative support.

This role will have a strong focus on driving our social media platforms and will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating our social media strategies for our health & wellness portfolio.

  • Develop overall Social Media plan for our key health & wellness brands;
  • Participate in communications & content planning;
  • Create relevant content across all digital channels;
  • Create engagement and conversation with our target audiences;
  • Manage our variety of social media platforms and other digital accounts, including copywriting, posting and scheduling;
  • Continually learn, test, measure & optimise performance on all social media activities including monthly reporting and recommendations;
  • Manage new product & packaging innovation projects with the cross functional teams;
  • Analyse market data and conduct qualitative & quantitative research projects to identify new sales opportunities for the business;
  • Assist with Brand Communications ATL and BTL;
  • Scoping and launching new NPD;
  • Creating presentations and promotions for customers. 

About you

You will be a motivated self-starter with a positive can do attitude.  This role will enable you to think outside of the square and create your own opportunities.

You will be innovative and a creative thinker, with a desire to succeed and progress within the company. 

  • A tertiary qualification in Business with a major in Marketing or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience managing social media – strategy; planning & implementation;
  • Proven experience in creating and managing social media paid and owned campaigns, including ad formats and creation, re-targeting, custom audiences, A/B split testing, goal tracking and performance reporting;
  • Experience within Hootsuite social media management tool desirable
  • Market analysis experience;
  • Analytical skills and an eye for detail;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Financial awareness & commercial acumen;
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to our leaders.
