HR Advisor

  • 12 month fixed term contract with potential permanency
  • Salary circa $75, 000 - $80, 000 plus super
  • South Eastern suburbs location - free carparking on site
We're partnering with a global business within the FMCG/Retail sector. With success spanning over 300 years, this business has continued to innovate and progress, remaining one of the best selling brands within their field.

As the business continues to grow, we're looking to bring on a HR Advisor in this newly created position. Initially starting on a 12 month fixed term contract, you will have the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, some of your key responsibilities will include;
  • Providing HR advice across HR operational matters, including managing lower level ER issues, and escalating as necessary to the Business Partner.
  • Continuously coaching and building the capability of managers, providing value and assistance wherever necessary.
  • Managing the full end to end recruitment process across a broad range of roles. 
  • Driving and administering cyclical activities including performance and salary administration / reviews, compliance, employee onboarding and exits, as well as the employee benefits program,
  • Manage Workcover cases and Return to Work plans as required.
  • Interpreting relevant EBAs and awards as necessary.
To be considered for this opportunity, we ask you to have;
  • Previous experience in a HR Generalist capacity in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and an innate ability to adapt your personal style as required.
  • Highly passionate, motivated and personable nature.
  • Previous experience managing Work Cover Claims and/or Return to Work plans is advantageous.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or relevant disciple is desirable.
