An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support & Network Administrator to join our Technology Team at our St Kilda Rd, Melbourne Head Office. Reporting to the CIO and working closely with another skilled Systems and Network Administrator, Technology Service Desk Team and POS Development Team, you will ensure the reliable, efficient and secure operation of our technology infrastructure across Head Offices, Warehouses and ~500 Stores in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
 
Some Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Install and configure new systems, servers, networks and applications.
  • Monitor systems and networks, including their confidentiality, integrity and availability.
  • Create and update SOEs.
  • Deploy OS patches, firmware upgrades, etc.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning.
  • Maintain and improve technology processes and automations.
  • Resolve technology bugs, errors and outages.
  • Assist with escalations and overflow from our Technology Service Desk.

You possess the following skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware ESX, Veeam, MPLS, Ubiquiti.
  • Applications: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SQL Server, Symantec Email Security.cloud, Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, WDS, WSUS.
  • Environments: Windows Server, Windows 7-10.
  • SOE Design, Development and Automation.
  • OS and Application Security Patching.

Highly desirable experience:
  • Working knowledge of the retail industry and its technology requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Apple Mac management.
  • Working knowledge of mobile device management (MDM).
  • Working knowledge of Zendesk, JIRA or similar issue/task tracking systems.
