Customer Service Officer

Bunnings is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Officer to join our fun and vibrant customer service team located in our Trade Centre in Greystanes.  Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for assisting high volume commercial customers with their trade enquiries and orders, entering and managing orders whilst maintaining a high standard of service that consistently exceeds our customer’s expectations. Our Trade customer service centre provides a tailored approach to servicing each of our major commercial customers and aims to positively impact sales in stores and through out Trade Centres by accurate and timely processing of orders.

 

What you can expect to do:

  • Provide internal support for our external sales team
  • Own our customer experience through an easy and reliable approach
  • Processing orders and quotes in COS, both accurately and timely
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address trade related enquiries
  • Interacting with commercial customers via email and over the phone
  • Communicate progress and resolution of issues to our customers

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in the Trade/Building industry (timber, hardware and construction) would be an advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience in a sale, call centre or customer service environment
  • An enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing customer service orientation with strong emphasis on delivery
  • A willingness to learn, assists others and work in a team-based environment
  • An ability to thrive under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong Intermediate - Microsoft Office experience
