Monadelphous is a leading engineering group providing construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. Monadelphous is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with projects, facilities and workshops across Australia and New Zealand, China, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea and the United States of America.

Our Group IT team is currently looking to engage a Desktop Support Advisor to work in our Service Desk team. This role is located at our Head Offices in Victoria Park. You will support our organisation by delivering front-line IT services to all business users. You will be required to maintain a highly customer focused attitude and identify areas for continuous improvements. In this role attention to detail and an emphasis on maintaining high quality record keeping and strong customer communication is paramount.

To be successful you will demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while continually seeking to identify and improve front-line service delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering IT services to meet customer requirements whilst making every effort to exceed customer expectations
  • Providing hands-on assistance, troubleshooting and provisioning of technology solutions to customers
  • Maintaining clear and concise communications and records to support service delivery
  • Flexibility in working hours to support business customers and participation in a shift roster when required
  • Mentoring and upskilling other service desk team members

What is essential for this role?

  • Exposure to the following technologies
  • Windows 7 and 10 Operating Environments
  • Office 365
  • SharePoint
  • Active Directory
  • VDI environments
  • Android and Apple devices
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a ‘can do’ approach
  • Mentoring and training of colleagues and customers
  • Basic understanding of the ITIL Service Delivery framework
  • Strong time management and an ability to prioritise workload


What is desirable for this role?

  • Microsoft Certification/s
  • ITIL Foundations Certified
  • Experienced in using ServiceNow
  • Experienced in using Microsoft SCCM
  • Experience supporting an international multi-site IT environment
