Travel Administrative Officer - APS4

  • 4 month contract + extensions

About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS4 Travel Administrative Officer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 4 month contract.
  
Duties
  • Organisation of domestic and overseas travel
  • Draft minutes for approval by the Deputy Secretary outlining the purpose of the travel and the financial implications
  • Reconciliation of overseas trips for approval 
  • Other administrative functions (drafting letters, generating/issuing invoices, organising itineraries... etc) 

Requirements/Skills

  • Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Experience in, and working knowledge of, conducting financial reconciliations and travel bookings.
