IT Service Delivery Officer

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is currently seeking an IT Service Delivery Officer who will be responsible for front line support of computer, networking and communications systems within the organisation. You will assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers systems while solving technical problems, provide routine administration of IT systems and technical assistance Council wide.

Operating within a proactive support model you will use your skills experience and initiative not only to provide break fix support but also help staff and the organisiation get the best from its ICT investment.

To be considered for this position you will have a passion for technology, and be driven to find solutions to both technical and business problems.

Additionally, you will ideally have Tertiary qualifications relevant to Information Technology coupled with industry training or certification (or considerable experience) with exposure to a corporate IT environment.  

As this is a client focused role you must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate across the organisation with colleagues that have varied technical skills.

As the IT Service Delivery Officer, it is essential that you are a team player, have the ability to forward think with the capacity to problem solve, and are able to work well under pressure. You will be highly motivated individual who understands the importance of working to deadlines. 

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
