Training and Development Officer - Education Systems Engagement

Your Role

As the Training and Development Officer you will have responsibility for the following:

  • Liaise with team members and various stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of learning outcomes related to the use of teaching and learning application functionality.
  • Assist and lead the development and delivery of teaching and learning training for individual, small and large groups of DoE staff in the use of the application using a variety of training mediums including web conferencing, online and face to face delivery.
  • Develop, review and update training and resource material on a range of the application's functions.
  • Identify, analyse and maintain evidence to track end user training needs including providing documentation to ensure that the training needs of DoE end users are met.
  • Evaluate, modify and improve the quality of training programs and resource material through self-assessment and in accordance with evaluation findings and participant feedback.
  • Monitor training and assessment trends to provide advice on training solutions and options relevant to the flexible and innovative delivery of training in the use of the application including online live events and on-demand resources.
  • Contribute to the achievement of continuous improvement by participating in consultation and review with relevant stakeholders and encouraging an environment where high quality work is achieved and is supported by the development of and adherence to quality systems and team work.
