About the role

Our ICT team is on a journey to position our Company at the forefront of technological advancement. 

To support this, we are extending our team to include a data analyst with primary focus on data warehousing and BI, assisting also in other data management domains. 

  • Deliver the technical solution to integrate data assets into a streamlined business insights platform to support our objective of a data-driven organisation;
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions that are optimized for the business;
  • Build and maintain data sets for consumption by the business;
  • Develop solution using Microsoft’s Power Platform; 
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement activities, especially in relation to the enterprise data lifecycle (acquisition, storage, retrieval, sharing, etc.);
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides;
  • Support data management strategy and governance activities towards achieving the company’s objectives;
  • Ensures data requests and outputs comply with Enterprise wide data governance standards;
  • Assist with user training to implement new technologies and/or improved practices
  • Report on data management activities, quality metrics, etc;
  • Be involved in data stewardship. 

About you

Together with a real passion and desire to help those around you at embracing technology, you will have:

  • SQL Server or equivalent and the development of complex queries, SQL, DAX;
  • Data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik;
  • SSIS or any other integration platforms;
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and database development;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships a diverse range of stakeholders, understand the requirement and devise suitable technical solutions;
  • Outcomes & continuous improvement focus;
  • Strong written, verbal and electronic communication skills;
  • Can do attitude with ability to identify opportunities, assess their risks and secure management support.
