Student Residence Managers

  • Two Fixed term, full-time appointments (5 years)

We deliver a world class student accommodation experience. We understand that living in student accommodation is about so much more than having a place to stay during your degree. The wellbeing and safety of our students is where we make a difference with our world-class range of wellbeing, cultural, social, sporting and academic programs.

Our Student Residence Managers provide vision, direction and leadership to their residence community across a full span of services - from day to day residence operations through to delivery of practical and meaningful suites of programs, events and activities to enhance residents’ lifestyle, academic and living environments. These positions emphasise resident wellbeing, pastoral care and academic matters across our Campus East, International House and Weerona College, and Kooloobong Village residences.

We are seeking passionate and experienced leaders who are inspired by making a difference to the way people engage with our residences. To be successful you need to be:

  • an experienced senior leader and manager, committed to developing and managing diverse teams and stakeholders operating in complex environments
  • a skilled operational manager, experienced in effectively and efficiently delivering and improving upon services, events and a suite of programs
  • genuinely interested and experienced in delivering exceptional service and programs to enhance wellbeing, academic and personal development for students, young adults and diverse cultural groups.

You will be required to work across residences from time-to-time and to respond to critical incidents and urgent matters, including out of business hours via an on-call arrangement on an approximate week on/week off basis.

This is your opportunity to apply your management and leadership skills to enhance the student experience at one of Australia’s top-rated Universities.

You will be considered for both positions unless you advise us in your application that you wish to only be considered for a specific position. You will be prompted to respond to a selection criteria questionnaire as part of the online application process. For further information about this position, please contact Catherine Troman (Recruiter) on +61 2 4221 5948.

This is a child-related position.
