Farm Attendant / Divers

Are you ready to work for Australia’s leading seafood producer? We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Divers to join our Southern Zone crew based at Dover on a 5/2 Monday to Friday roster. You will be working with a strong and committed team and be an essential part of our Marine Operations. So f you are an experienced Diver looking for a change of scenery and new challenges, or are just beginning your career in the diving / aquaculture industry and have ADAS pt II or III qualifications, then we would love to hear from you! 

Tassal is an iconic salmon grower and seafood processor with runs on the board in developing, innovating and growing responsible and sustainable seafood in Australia. 

The job:

In this role you will work with a multi-skilled crew out of Dover. Dive duties can include:

  • Net inspections and underwater repairs
  • Mort retrieval and general recovery
  • Net scoring and Mooring checks
  • Fish schooling and behavioural observation
  • General farm hand duties as required

You:

You will be a self-motivated team player who has a passion for Aquaculture and a commitment to safety. In addition to the above, you will have:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Aquaculture Dive or an ADAS Aquaculture SSBA to 30 metres commercial dive qualification
  • A commitment to working in a marine farming environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • A Coxswains Grade 2 ticket (desirable)
