About the role:

Calvary Riverina Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Operating Room Assistant. We offer flexible working hours and have excellent salary packaging options. We also offer family-friendly weekday, afternoon and evening shifts to support a healthy work-life balance.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our Perioperative team at Calvary Riverina Hospital.  We are located within the health precinct of Wagga Wagga.

With eight operating theatres across two campuses, Calvary Riverina Hospital provides both day and overnight surgical and medical services and for more critically ill patients, we provide Intensive Care, Coronary Care and High Dependency units.

The successful applicant will need to work within the team and at times autonomously, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager. Our team offers a supportive and dynamic work environment which supports cross-skilling and flexible work options.

 

What you bring: 

  • Operating Room Assistant Certificate III
  • Knowledge, understanding and demonstration of customer service culture in health care
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to embrace the organization core values, mission and vision and incorporate into practice
  • Immunisation status up to date
