Office of the Chief Executive

The Office of the Chief Executive supports the delivery and operation of Sydney Metro. Our team sets the overarching governance and strategic framework to ensure we’re going in the right direction. We also work closely with Transport for NSW, Infrastructure NSW and NSW Government Ministers and Cabinet to ensure Sydney Metro connects seamlessly with our total integrated, multi-modal future transport system.

The opportunity

 

Right now, we have an opportunity for multiple Contract Administrator’s to join us in the Office of the Chief Executive/Commercial reporting to the Manager Service Contracts.

 

The primary purpose of the role is to provide contract administration services for a bespoke suite of contacts, including Professional Service Contracts (PSCs). The role acts as a primary point of contact for contract administration activities for the organisation, facilitating engagement with specialist procurement and contract management resources and managing strategic supplier relationships.

 

What you will be involved in:

 

·         Keeping abreast of current and emerging best practice, standards, government policy and statutory requirements in relation to procurement.

·         Building and maintaining a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment within Transport for NSW core divisions.

 

About you

 

You have a well seasoned contract management background, with experience administering multiple contracts concurrently for contracts ranging from several thousand to several million dollars in value

Knowledge of the NSW Government Procurement Policy and procurement framework and of probity requirements in respect of NSW Government procurement. 

 

You have extensive experience in entering high volume invoices, experience multitasking, managing records, have high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Ideally, you also have a strong grasp of SAP and Excel, and Good working knowledge of “best practice” for services contract management.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is USS Grade 8  ($115,137 - $128,952) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
