Are you an experienced customer service professional who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders? Do you have a professional telephone manner and enjoy helping resolve problems? Are you passionate about working to support school communities to respond to incidents? We are looking for two motivated individuals to join our team as Incident Response Officers.

The Incident Support and Operation Centre (ISOC) sits in the Security and Emergency Management Division and supports schools to respond to incidents as they occur, helping to create safer learning environments.The ISOC also provides security and crime prevention support. This includes a 24/7 school alarm monitoring and response, and security and crime prevention advisors that can visit schools to advise on infrastructure security (including CCTV and fencing), along with physical and personal security.

The successful applicant will be a positive and solutions-oriented problem solver. You will conduct your day to day activities in a manner  that aligns to our public sector values and inspires others to do likewise.

Incident Response Officers will also receive and process incident reports from school leaders in a timely, efficient and empathetic manner. The incident details will be recorded in the Department's database and communicated to schools, regional and corporate personnel.
The role will be required to work shift work, and be available outside of business hours to support the department and whole of government emergency management operations.
