.Net Developer

Due to an excited period of global expansion, a well regarded organisation is seeking a .NET developer to work as part of a small close knit team. This opportunity offers a .NET Developer the chance to work on a mix of high profile projects and customer focussed issues within a fast paced and dynamic company.

You will be based in Melbourne's West, with an employer of choice. The initial contract is 6 months, however there may be an opportunity for extension and/or permanence for the right person.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills & a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrable experience coding in C#, .NET 4.0/4.5,
  • LINQ
  • Advanced ASP.NET MVC, HTTP and REST APIs, Security, OAuth
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Software Design Patterns in an integration or service oriented environment
  • Dependency Injection, Queues, Dataflow, Parallel Programming and Threading
  • ORM for data access layer – MS Entity Framework - basic knowledge and some experience
  • T-SQL - basic knowledge and some experience
  • Git - advanced level

Skills with the following will be highly regarded 

  • JavaScript, Java, CSS, HTML, JSON, XML will be highly regarded
  • Sales Force Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) integration experience
  • AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS CloudWatch

Working as part of a talented team your responsibilities will be to :

  • Work from business requirements to understand existing product functionality
  • Participate in new features analysis and design
  • Implement new features 
  • Maintain and evolve existing functionality
  • Communicate closely with other team members, and stakeholders
  • Develop supporting documentation
  • Provide assistance and support to Quality Assurance team and end users

This role offers flexibility and the ability to work from home. It is a rare contract opportunity to work on strategic solutions.
