Warehouse/Stores Manager

 

Glass Expansion is an Australian-owned international science and technology company specialising in the manufacture of analytical equipment and accessories. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Manager to join our team in Port Melbourne.

As the Stores Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating all daily stores activities including receiving, dispatching, storing, picking and packing. In addition, you will:

  • Identify, report and implement process improvements and efficiencies;
  • Liaise with local, national and international freight companies;
  • Manage inventory and control stock;
  • Ensure that your team performs work in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Manage, lead and provide training to the team within the stores

We are looking for a forward thinker; someone who can take ownership of the role and create new and efficient procedures to ensure the smooth running of the stores.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent people management and interpersonal skills. You will bring integrity and a commitment to professionalism and accountability to your role. You will have the ability and experience to build and maintain a positive team environment.

The position is a permanent full time and stable role. We offer a very clean and friendly working environment. Monday to Friday with a 9 day fortnight available.
