The Hotel

Hyatt Hotel Canberra is an award winning, luxury five star hotel located in the national capital's Parliamentary Triangle, minutes from Canberra's' major tourist attractions, the city centre and government offices. Role:-

As Human Resources Coordinator you will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of administrative support to our Internal and External Customers. With guidance and training your main duties will include:-

  • Being the face of HR - welcoming and assisting colleagues accordingly
  • Coordination and administration of Recruitment and Selection process
  • Payroll processing on a fortnightly basis
  • Assisting with coordination and administration of Learning and Development programs
  • Coordination of Social Club events

Ideal candidate:-

The ideal candidate will possess the following:-

  • Warm personality, who thoroughly enjoys working with people 
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Enjoys working with numbers, payroll experience advantageous
  • Recent experience in a similar hotel  role/environment highly regarded
  • Qualifications in Human Resources and/or Hospitality and Tourism
