Web Designer/Developer
The Client
Our client is a leading Creative Agency, determined to continue building a great staff culture even as they undertake ambitious projects. They specialise in helping not-for-profit, value-based organisations across Australia by improving their communications and processes through great branding, strategy, design, campaigns, websites, tools and services. 

Scope
As the Web Designer/Developer you will have full ownership on the design and development of the website presence and other digital assets of all of the agency's clients. As well as this you will be creating user journeys, wire-framing, whilst ensuring your websites are responsive by browser/device testing. It's a big job, but don't worry, you won't be alone. You will be well supported by a great leadership team and a talent studio of designers. Amongst all you will be the specialist, the go to person for all things digital. 


Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' of experience using HTML/CSS/SASS coder, who can build custom layouts without reliance on frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation, and who has a good understanding of WC3 standards and WCAG 2.1. 
  • Experienced in creating user journeys, wireframing, building responsive websites and browser/device testing. 
  • Excellence in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, Invision and a build process such as codekit, gulp or similar.
  
Essential skills and experience
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or similar
  • Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
  • A thorough understanding of best practice design and frontend development techniques and processes
  
Desirable skills and experience
  • JavaScript and experience with .js frameworks is desirable.
  • Experience with Wordpress theme development
  • Video editing
  • App design
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred
