People and Culture Manager

  • Exciting newly created permanent position for an experienced IT People and Culture Manager
  • Reputable SA based IT consultancy, located in the new innovation hub at Lot 14
  • Partner with senior management to develop a strategic approach to strengthen our links to the company from our distributed workforce (social events, communications etc)

Role Overview

An ongoing, full-time internal position has become available working for Adelaide’s most innovative IT consultancy, Chamonix. The successful candidate will be accountable for the sourcing and onboarding of new talent into the business. This is a great opportunity for a well experienced People and Culture manager who would like to join a growing organisation and gain broader experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality end to end recruitment assignments for highly technical positions
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source and identify top talent in the IT market including sourcing via job advertisements as well as targeted head hunting for long term talent prospects
  • Ability to maintain a current talent pool of IT contractors and potential permanent employees
  • Ability to create job briefs correctly interpreting the needs of our sales and management team
  • Correctly map suitable candidates to new roles with a high degree of accuracy ensuring a person fit as well as the appropriate technical skills and qualifications 
  • Ability to identify top of market candidates that align to Chamonix’s high-performance work ethic with exceptional consulting soft skills
  • Successfully manage marketing campaigns to attract new talent 
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Continuously improve the recruitment function to ensure the best possible candidate experience

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive experience recruiting in the IT sector or for other highly technical positions is essential 
  • Professionally presented with the ability to act as a Brand Ambassador for Chamonix
  • Influencing skills with the ability to negotiate and work with all levels of candidates
  • Positive personality with an ability to create meaningful relationships with candidates and existing consultants
  • Excellent listening skills will be required to ensure that ongoing communication with our distributed workforce is a priority as we continue to grow as a company
  • The ability to become a positive influence in the workplace enhancing our existing culture with additional social activities
  • Outstanding work ethic with the ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments effectively
  • High sense of urgency and speed of delivery, without compromising on quality
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of independence, maturity and initiative 
  • Proactive attitude with a solution focused mindset  
  • Highly organised individual with strong administrative skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
