Education Specialist

The Role:

This role will expand the educational content which is consumed by prospective and existing Partners, end-users and industry bodies. It will involve the production of education material as well as localisation of global content for use within Australia.

The majority of our education content at Xero is online, so the ability to produce digital education and utilise digital education tools is vital. The Education Specialist will deliver training via classrooms and scheduled webinars also.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Produce and write materials for core training on Xero and Xero-add-ons for accounting/bookkeeping partners and SMBs;
  • Create soft-skill training modules;
  • Write, facilitate, host and deliver webinars and face to face sessions to partners and customers;
  • Run internal training courses, upskill staff on latest Xero functionality;
  • Assist with events/community initiatives amongst the accounting/bookkeeping community;
  • Take feedback from surveys and follow up programmes to refine content after initial release.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in the production of educational material and course structure;
  • Great communication and collaboration skills, with an enthusiasm for building strong
    relationships;
  • An ability to cope with change in a fast paced dynamic environment experiencing growth;
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills;
  • An ability to excite, influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve optimal and sustainable outcomes and impact;
  • Proven experience in L&D and adult learning and /or Cert IV in Training Assessment preferred but not essential.
