Our Laboratory Technician role:

This position is within the Technical Services team where you will provide high-quality, timely sample preparation and analytical services that supports the requirements of stakeholders from across the Northparkes business.

In this role you will undertake tasks to established laboratory standards with a strong focus on quality assurance, quality control and a Zero Harm culture.

This position is a permanent Monday to Friday position reporting to the Senior Laboratory Technician. Attractive employee benefits are available including subsidised private health cover, salary packaging options and the opportunity for increased superannuation contributions. Relocation is also available.

The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:

  • Certificate in Laboratory skills advantageous
  • Prior experience working in mineral processing laboratories highly regarded
  • Understanding of quality and safety standards
  • Prior Fire assay experience desirable
  • Driver’s license
