Electrician

The Company

Our client based in Dry Creek is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of trains in Adelaide. They are seeking multiple Qualified Electrician's to join their team on a short term basis

Day to Day Duties

  • Carry out pre-inspection procedures on incoming passenger trains
  • Scheduled services in accordance with Technical Maintenance Plan
  • Emergency recovery of vehicles & in-service fault finding and fixing
  • Conduct specified performance test, including audio, visual and load tests, and recording of all test results.
  • Carry out accident investigations

Essential to the Role

  • Qualified in relevant trade (electrical, mechanical, coachbuilding)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rail car maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience in fault finding
  • Current SA drivers licence
  • Track Safety Awareness
  • Must be willing to work shift work
