It is an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. To do this we are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a part-time (19 hours a week) Competitions Coordinator to join our team.
Based out of either Melbourne Park or Albert Reserve your will effectively deliver and grow a range of our tennis programs such as our Social Leagues, Member Events, Hot Shots Leagues and weekend competitions.
 

In this role you will:
Reporting into the Melbourne Park Manager (Tennis World) you will:

  • Coordinate the effective administrative and operational delivery of Tennis Australia and Tennis World’s tennis programs across either Melbourne Park or Albert Reserve
  • Review and monitor program attraction, engagement and retention to provide meaningful feedback on program offerings
  • Ensure that Tennis World programs are well presented and welcoming for program customers
  • Prepare Social League fixtures and draws using Tennis Australia’s ‘League Manager’ software
  • Input relevant administrative program information into the database

About you:
What you will bring to this role:

  • Previous experience with sports program delivery (either in a professional or volunteer capacity)
  • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a cross-functional team
  • Proven administration experience with the ability to manage data-bases and prioritise a range of conflicting tasks
  • A current RSA certificate and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A tertiary qualification in Sport Management / Sports Administration (highly regarded)
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
