Signal Maintainers / Trades Assist

RMC Rail Services provides track maintenance, Construction and Signalling and Electrical teams to deliver a wide range of services across Australia. RMC has established depots in Western Australia, Central Queensland and NSW to provide the highest quality service to key clients in mining, resources and the intermodal freight business. We have a reputation based on quality, capability and on time delivery, built from on-ground capability.
 
RMC Rail Services continues to experience strong growth and are currently seeking Signalling Maintainers and Trades Assist’s for our up and coming Projects.

What you need to be successful in this role:
  • A POSITIVE, “CAN DO” attitude is essential
  • Must be available and flexible for reactive work opportunities
  • Will be required to carry out work along the rail corridor.
  • A desire to work in the Rail Industry
  • Mechanical aptitude/ experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to carry out manual maintenance work.
  • Rail Industry Workers Card (RIW) would be an advantage.
  • A current Australian drivers’ licence
  • You must hold a current WA Construction White Card/Blue Card
  • Previous Rail experience and current high-risk tickets could be advantageous
  • Capacity to take direction and willingness to learn new tasks.
  • Able to complete and pass all required Compliance testing and pre-employment health assessments, inclusive of ongoing D&A testing
  • A proven track record of punctuality and good attribute to work within a team environment, as well as working autonomously.
  • Recognised Mechanical  Certification - Advantageous 
  • 100% commitment to Safety.
