About the role

The role will see you engage the functions of accounts receivable/payable and reconciliations for MS Queensland. You will work with the Finance team to ensure that all accounts are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Validate and process purchase orders and accounts payable invoices;
  • Processing of accounts receivable, including the reconciliation and collection activities of all Services’ customer accounts entries via TCM;
  • Process banking for MS Queensland’s bank accounts across all departments and produce daily reconciliations for online payment gateways and liaise with the appropriate departments on highlighted variances.

Based in Milton, this role will work within the Finance Team on a fulltime fixed-term basis (May 2020 – Jan 2021).

About YOU

We are looking for candidates who will bring;

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • Strong numerical skills and sound accounting knowledge;
  • BAS experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

You will additionally bring at least 5 years’ relevant accounts experience up to trial balance (incl AP, AR and Bank reconciliations) with a medium to large organisation. Experience working in disability or human services sector and previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV is desirable.
