Finance Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our team as our Finance Accountant. You will be working with our Senior Accountant and CFO in our new offices at Barangaroo.

The Role: 

The Finance Account reports directly to the CFO and liaises with all business groups to assess Company’s finance requirements and recommends optimal financing strategies for Company's continuing operations and growth projects. The role is further responsible for origination and execution of recommended financial solutions. The position would also manage the current portfolio of assets (Financial Asset Management) with respect to the financing agreements along with the treasury needs of the organization.

Selection Criteria: 

  • Tertiary Qualifications preferably Economics / Finance / Business
  • Master’s degree / CFA would be preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in Corporate & Project Finance
  • At least 3 years with proven responsibility in the following:
    • Treasury/Project Finance Portfolio manager
    • Financial Advisory services (ie consultancy firms)
    • Financial analysis and financial/risk evaluations
  • Professional experience in multinational company preferred proven experience in international financial environment (banks, advisory or financial services firms) with product knowledge on project finance;
  • Ideally suited for background relating to analyst roles in banking, finance, credit, DCM or advisory services
  • Financial modelling skills are essential
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Attention to detail and excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
  • As a multi-national company, flexibility around working hours is required
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage
