Service Desk Analyst

This Service Provider require a Service Desk Analyst to provide a service to both internal and external staff.

Your new company
This managed service provider works on the design and build of the ICT services you need from ground up. This company provides Local support & engineering teams for your compute, storage, network, and carriage requirements. This company is a VMware, Citrix and Microsoft Service Provider Partner and support clients and customers with migrating existing Microsoft applications into their cloud.


Your new role
You will be required to provide level 1 through to some level 2 Service Desk services to both internal and external stakeholders across a wide variety of IT services including desktop hardware, account management and security access.

Main tasks include.

  • Manage and log service desk tickets within the service desk application
  • Maintain user accounts, system access and security
  • Provide technical support, both remotely and onsite. This can include desktop hardware, mobile devices and Microsoft Office
  • Maintain mail systems both internal and external
  • Prepare monthly Service Desk reports for customers
  • Build PC's and install software as required
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and action requests within the Service Desk mailbox
  • Fulfil other duties as required and within scope of the Service Desk



What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate can deliver the right customer services with a high level of quality and attention to detail. They are looking for someone who has experience with Microsoft products such as Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 10.

  • Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone and face to face.
  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
  • Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
  • Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
  • Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
  • Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
