Head of Sales Consumer Healthcare

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare is a best in class consumer health business with a large portfolio of vitamin, mineral, supplement, over the counter and personal care brands including Nature’s Own, Cenovis, Ostelin, Telfast, Mersyndol, Phenergan, Betadine, and many more. We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Sales to join our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager for CHC.

You will play a pivotal role by leading the ANZ Sales and Key Accounts teams to bring the Consumer, Shopper and Customer strategies to life by understanding channel and competitor trends in order to effectively forecast output and promotional requirements across the market.

Key Priorities:

  • Responsible for the achievement of the ANZ sales budgets whilst ensuring all Trade Promotional Expenditure and operational expenses stay within approved budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels within our customers business, with a particular focus on developing strategic partnerships and joint business plans.
  • Provide an environment of excellence in managing key accounts, working closely with the Channel Managers to share best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the National Sales Manager and provide clear in store direction to the field team each quarter by attending and leading the strategy

Key criteria for this role include:

  • Solid commercial experience and strong management in Sales Operations/Trade Marketing/Category Management
  • Extensive experience operating across multiple channels within FMCG/Healthcare
  • Strong and visible leadership with the ability to lead initiatives and influence key stakeholders into action
  • Tertiary qualifications are essential, preferably in Business and Marketing, or a science/pharmacy degree or MBA
  • Experience managing large budgets and workforces, with excellent financial analysis skills
