We are currently seeking an IT Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team and support our Brisbane office team members with their IT requirements. If you have a passion for customer service and want to build on your IT experience in a fast-paced global business, we want to hear from you!

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing desktop issues and providing telephone and face-to-face technical support to users
  • Setting up and configuring new starter workstations, this includes replacing and rebuilding workstations when required
  • Ensuring all hardware/software installations and routine upgrades are implemented
  • Carrying out daily monitoring and maintenance tasks
  • Provide technical support for Windows 10 desktops and laptops for local and remote users.  
  • Manage  Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 Platform including Office 365 Pro Plus, Exchange Online, Onedrive  and Sharepoint Online 
  • Maintain computer life-cycle, this includes deploy SCCM Windows image to desktops and laptops, diagnose and raise support ticket with hardware vendors 
  • Ensuring all hardware/software installations and routine upgrades are implemented
  • Carrying out daily monitoring and maintenance tasks 

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with a strong customer focus, responding quickly and efficiently to support requests
  • Strong understanding of desktop/laptop hardware and various Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of mobility devices (Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, Android)
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN, Wireless)
  • Strong problem solving, organisational, analytical and testing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrating initiative when investigating issues
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently when required
  • Ability to take ownership of technical issues and collaborate with other teams to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
  • Ability to solve difficult problems in a time critical environment
