Administration Assistant

Division:  Major Projects

Position Number: 35555

Location:  East Perth

The Roles

These multi-task roles cover a variety of duties and provides a customer focussed administrative support service to a high-pressure infrastructure project environment that is experiencing significant growth.  If successful to the position, you will be required to perform a range of administration and preparation activities including:

  • Minutes Secretary at meetings, preparation and distribution of minutes and agendas, and following up on action items
  • Arrange meetings and other events comprising of booking of facilities and catering
  • Provide maintenance of contract documentation including maintaining records, registers and other administrative systems
  • Verify and arrange payments of accounts using financial management systems
  • Ensure office equipment is serviced and maintained.

Successful applicants must be computer literate with considerable experience and skills in a range of software including Microsoft Office, databases and electronic records management systems, with accurate and efficient keyboard and data entry skills. 

To be suitable, successful applicants must also be able to work unsupervised within a team environment and have outstanding customer service and communication skills; strong organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload; and demonstrate initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pool

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.  We have a number of positions currently available for fixed term appointments up to 30 June 2023 with the possibility of extensions.
