Our client is one of Australia’s most talked about law firms.  Right now, they are looking for a Marketing and Communications professional to join this young award-winning business. 
  
Located in Sydney’s CBD, this organisation is disrupting the legal profession and following in the footsteps of it’s sister business in the UK which is widely regarded as the most successful listed law firm and a rebel in the sector.
  
This organisation is unique in that it offers lawyers a different way of working; one which they can do from any location that suits them and earn substantially more by taking home a percentage of everything they bill and uses custom built technology to facilitate this. 
  
This vibrant and dynamic business would suit an ambitious senior marketing and communications executive or manager who has experience in a fast pace growing business and would like a role where they have more responsibility and autonomy to drive forward projects and accelerate the company growth to the next level.  Initially this is a standalone role but with scope to grow a team.

About the role
The role covers 2 core areas:-
1)  Profile raising and recruitment marketing:  The business grows through attracting the best lawyers in the profession who are drawn to the firm through the opportunity to earn substantially more and work flexibly focusing on nothing other than delivering legal advice to their clients
  
2) Marketing and business development support:  Working with the lawyers, to help win new clients and to grow their practices and profiles. 
  
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a range of internal and external events
  • Devising and implementing marketing campaigns to reach clients and potential lawyers
  • Creating pitches, proposals, brochures and other bespoke marketing documents
  • Writing press releases and distributing to appropriate publications
  • Identifying PR opportunities
  • Updating the website with new content and writing new content where required
  • Creating and distributing email newsletters
  • Managing social media channels and ensuring a constant flow of content and implementing advertising campaigns as required
  • Contributing with your marketing genius where possible
You are most probably: 
  • - 5+ years' hand on experienced in marketing and communications, preferably within the professional services, finance or tech sector but not essential
  • - Highly driven and self-motivated 
  • - Creative with a flair for generating ideas and solutions
  • - At ease with multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • - Blessed with a can-do attitude with an impeccable attention to detail
  • - Highly skilled in written work, and able to produce complex material
  • - Exceptionally well organised
  • - Confident, especially when dealing with senior professionals and stakeholders
  • - Passionate about learning, enthusiastic and keen to make a difference.
Essential software knowledge:
Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InDesign and photoshop
