This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a Melbourne based business which manufactures and markets a portfolio of innovative, quality Australian food and beverage products to domestic and international consumers. The enterprise is supported by a group of experienced private investors, a strong leadership team and an investment strategy which is committed to growth.

Reporting to the CFO you will primarily be responsible for the hands-on and day to day financial administration of the business, including oversight of all accounting operations, month end financial accounting and management reporting and for all statutory reporting requirements. You will also be expected to coordinate and manage the corporate budget process and be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial results for monthly management reporting purposes. You will act as a focal subject matter expert for stakeholders, using your financial subject matter expertise to support decisions which impact upon finance, commercial management and business operations and, as a proactive finance professional, you will also be expected to use your critical thinking and influencing skills to continuously look for opportunities to improve business performance.

The business is seeking a professionally qualified and experienced Finance Manager/Senior Accountant, preferably with experience in the FMCG Manufacturing sector, to manage a structured handover from the departing Finance Manager. To be considered for this opportunity you should be professionally qualified and possess previous experience in a similar role, ideally where you have also been responsible for Treasury/Cashflow reporting and where you may have also been exposed to SAPB1.  Strong budgeting, forecasting and analysis and management reporting skills are essential. Equally importantly you will be an exceptional communicator and an energetic and highly motivated self-starter.

For a strictly confidential discussion, please contact James McBeath on 03 8609 2056.  Alternatively, submit your application via the Apply button.
