About the Opportunity

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join our friendly team. We are seeking an exceptional leader, that is organised, excellent communicator, reliable and possesses an enthusiastic attitude. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Information Officer and will work closely with the IT and broader head office team. Your main tasks would include:

  • Being a hands leader of our IT Support Team
  • Supporting the team and leading by example, actively engaging in Help Desk calls and resolving high complexity Support tickets
  • Identify and escalate technical and business risks associated with the IT Infrastructure
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Cyber Security Plan
  • Organise and distribute workload across SMEs
  • Introduce and/or enhance measures to meet with Organisational Objectives
  • Introduce/Simplify Processes and Procedure to manage expectations and raise overall Service Level
  • Improve Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan, regularly execute and test plans
  • Oversee system and application patching, manage scheduled maintenance
  • Installation of hardware and peripheral network attached assets 
  • Computer hardware and software management
  • Liaising with third parties, including external vendors and help desks

About you

You are a Customer focused individual with a one team mentality. 

  • Ability to build up and motivate team members, set goals and review/evaluate on regular basis
  • Proven ability in high traffic and high-pressure environments
  • Pay attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent time management and the ability to work around deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • 5+ years’ experience in a corporate IT role
  • Relevant tertiary IT qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with VMWare, Cisco Meraki, IP Telephony, Microsoft Cube, PowerBI, SD-WAN, Azure Database, Azure Application, Azure Services, Windows Server, Windows OS.
  • Programming and debugging skills: T-SQL, ASP.NET, SSIS, SSRS, Python

  • Franchising experience
