Level 1 Service Desk Officer

To meet Modis’ continuously growing pipeline of work, we are looking for several Level 1 Service Desk Officer’s to join the team to support and drive our expanding business. In this role you will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of support to network users to ensure that all IT systems and hardware are always operating at their peak performance

Duties

  • Provide first line support for users across the country.
  • AD Account Changes
  • Service changes - troubleshooting
  • Maintenance of hardware, software and network documentation and control records
  • Customer Service focused on resolving product issues

Skills and Experience

  • User and computer administration and MS Active Directory environment
  • Networking administration and support. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Symantec Endpoint administration and the manual removal of viruses from computers when required
  • Installation and support of PC hardware and software.
  • Network data storage
  • Strong focus on Customer Service and excellent verbal communication
  • Experience with ticket management (ITSM)
  • Experience working to ITIL and in an Agile environment
  • Telco industry experience held in high regard
