IT Support Engineer

The opportunity

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to augment our Heath client’s project.

You’ll join our team for in a Based on our client’s site in Docklands, Melbourne.

  • Review , deploy and test new hardware and devices for end users
  • Conduct daily backups and change of legacy tape backups
  • Respond to escalated tickets in the Service Now ticketing system
  • Configure and troubleshoot VLAN connectivity issues
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance 
  • Configure and maintain VMware and vSphere clients
  • Maintain all devices with HP device manager

Skills & Experience

  • Proved experience as a ICT Support Engineer of Desktop Support Engineer
  • Well versed with ITIL 
  • Ability to perform Level 1 and Level 2 service requests
  • Service Now ticketing system
  • General desktop, hardware and device management support
  • Windows O/S, Windows Server 2003 - 2016, Microsoft Office
  • Experience with MDM - Citrix XenMobile, HP Storage and backup, Tape Drive support (HP Data Protector), Veeam, VMware, vSphere, Symantec Enterprise Vault, General VOiP support (Mitel and/or Polycom)
